Below is the list for study for the first listening exam. Students are responsible for information listed below, and only that information.

Learn to recognize the entire selection as during the exam the song may be started from any point. Just relax your ears and try to absorb the music in general at first. Then listen more closely each subsequent time while looking at the historical information. This way, you will absorb the information gradually, but firmly. Start now and listen everyday.
